Job summary

Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living in Ashburn, VA is hiring Dietary Aides / Dining Server to provide calm, caring service to residents. You will help with meal service, support dining room operations, and ensure residents receive nourishing, enjoyable meals.

Part-time and full-time roles are available with shifts 7:00 am–12:00 pm or 4:00 pm–8:00 pm, plus every other weekend. Benefits include PTO, medical/dental/vision, a 401(k) with match, and a 30% discount on food and drinks at on-site

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a food service environment is preferred, but will train if no experience.
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible with schedule, available to work some weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome residents upon their arrival at the restaurant.
• Coordinate with seaters to help servers and kitchen staff work efficiently.
• Assist with preparation, stocking, serving, and post-meal cleanup.
• Ensure all residents receive adequate nutritional intake.
• Answer phones professionally and follow up on requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the front of the house and kitchen.
• Assist in training the wait staff.

We’re hiring Dietary Aides / Dining Server at a senior living community in Ashburn where dining is about more than food—it’s about care, consistency, and connection.

This is not restaurant chaos.

It’s a structured, team‑based role serving the same residents each day in a calm, supportive environment.

Responsible for the overall efficiency of the dining room and pantry; assists with preparation, stocking, serving and post meal clean up of meals and snacks to ensure adequate nutritional intake for all residents.

You’ll ensure the dining room and pantry run smoothly, supporting our goal of providing a great dining experience.

What we offer

• Compensation: $16.00 -$18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience plus $300 sign on bonus!
• Part time shifts are available with required hours- 7:00 am - 12:00 noon or 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm any day
• Afternoon shifts - Thursday, Friday- 4:00 pm- 8pm plus every other weekend scheduling
