Job summary

Valerio Emergency Plumbing in Fairfield County, Connecticut is hiring an experienced Connecticut-licensed P-2 plumber for a full-time service position. This role focuses on emergency and responsive residential/commercial service rather than construction.

You will diagnose and repair leaks, water heaters, drains, and other plumbing systems, communicate options clearly to customers, and work with our organized office team to schedule, document, and complete jobs in compliance with CT codes.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut P-2 Plumbing License—required.
• Residential service and repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to work independently and complete jobs correctly the first time.
• Professional, respectful customer communication.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Dependability, punctuality, and personal accountability.
• Ability to use a smartphone and field-service applications.
• Willingness to participate in an emergency on-call rotation.
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of plumbing work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose residential and light-commercial plumbing problems.
• Repair leaks, burst pipes, failed fixtures, water heaters, supply lines, drains, and other plumbing systems.
• Respond calmly and professionally to emergency plumbing calls.
• Explain findings and repair options clearly to customers.
• Complete repairs efficiently and in accordance with Connecticut plumbing codes.
• Identify additional legitimate plumbing concerns without high-pressure sales tactics.
• Document every job with accurate notes, photographs, materials and recommendations.
• Collect required customer authorizations and payments.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Protect customers’ homes and businesses during the service call.
• Communicate with dispatch and management regarding job status.
• Participate in a scheduled, compensated after-hours on-call rotation.
