Job summary

Valerio Emergency Plumbing is seeking an experienced CT-licensed P-2 plumber for a full-time service position. You will diagnose and repair residential and light-commercial plumbing problems, communicate options to customers, and complete work to CT code standards.

This role offers steady work with overtime and after-hours emergency earnings, backed by a supportive office team and growth opportunities toward a P‑1 license as the company expands.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut P-2 Plumbing License required.
• Residential service and repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to work independently and complete jobs correctly the first time.
• Professional, respectful customer communication.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to participate in an emergency on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose residential and light‑commercial plumbing problems.
• Repair leaks, burst pipes, fixtures, water heaters, drains and other plumbing systems.
• Respond calmly and professionally to emergency calls.
• Explain findings and repair options clearly to customers.
• Complete repairs efficiently and in compliance with Connecticut plumbing codes.
• Document every job with accurate notes, photos, materials and recommendations.
• Collect required authorizations and payments.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Protect customers’ homes and businesses during service calls.
• Communicate with dispatch and management regarding job status.
• Participate in a scheduled, compensated after‑hours on‑call rotation.

Valerio Emergency Plumbing is hiring an experienced Connecticut-licensed P-2 plumber for a full‑time service position.

This is an opportunity for a capable plumber who wants steady work, competitive pay, professional support, and a meaningful role in the growth of a locally owned plumbing company.

We primarily perform residential and commercial service, repair, and emergency plumbing throughout Fairfield County. This is not exclusively a construction or rough‑in position, we are an emergency service provider. The right candidate should be comfortable diagnosing problems, communicating with customers, presenting appropriate repair options, and completing quality work without constant supervision.

Compensation

$42–$50 per hour, based on service experience and technical ability

Overtime opportunities

Additional earnings for after‑hours emergency service

What You Will Do

Diagnose residential and light‑commercial plumbing problems

Repair leaks, burst pipes, failed fixtures, water heaters, supply lines, drains, and other plumbing systems

Respond calmly and professionally to emergency plumbing calls

Explain findings and repair options clearly to customers

Complete repairs efficiently and in accordance with Connecticut plumbing codes

Identify additional legitimate plumbing concerns without using high‑pressure sales tactics

Document every job with accurate notes, photographs, materials, and recommendations

Collect required customer authorizations and payments

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Protect customers’ homes and businesses throughout the service call

Communicate with dispatch and management regarding job status

Participate in a scheduled, compensated after‑hours on‑call rotation

What We Are Looking For

Active Connecticut P‑2 Plumbing License—required

Residential service and repair experience

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability

Ability to work independently and complete jobs correctly the first time

Professional, respectful customer communication

Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record

Dependability, punctuality, and personal accountability

Ability to use a smartphone and field‑service applications

Willingness to participate in an emergency on‑call rotation

Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of plumbing work

Experience with water heaters, drain service, sewer cameras, backflow devices, pumps, commercial service, or emergency loss response is valuable but not required in every area.
