Job summary

Valerio Emergency Plumbing is seeking a Connecticut-licensed P-2 plumber for full-time service work in Fairfield County. You will diagnose and repair residential and light-commercial plumbing problems, respond to emergency calls, and educate customers on repair options while ensuring code compliance.

A strong on-call rotation and professional communication are required. We offer competitive pay ($42–$50/hr) based on experience, overtime opportunities, and a path toward advancing to a P-1 license

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut P-2 Plumbing License—required.
• Residential service and repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to work independently and complete jobs correctly the first time.

• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Dependability, punctuality, and personal accountability.
• Ability to use a smartphone and field-service applications.
• Willingness to participate in an emergency on-call rotation.
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of plumbing work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose residential and light-commercial plumbing problems
• Repair leaks, burst pipes, failed fixtures, water heaters, supply lines, drains, and other plumbing systems
• Respond calmly and professionally to emergency plumbing calls
• Explain findings and repair options clearly to customers
• Complete repairs efficiently and in accordance with Connecticut plumbing codes
• Identify additional legitimate plumbing concerns without high-pressure sales tactics
• Document every job with accurate notes, photographs, materials, and recommendations
• Collect required customer authorizations and payments
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Protect customers’ homes and businesses throughout the service call
• Communicate with dispatch and management regarding job status
• Participate in a scheduled, compensated after-hours on-call rotation

Valerio Emergency Plumbing is hiring an experienced Connecticut-licensed P-2 plumber for a full-time service position.

We primarily perform residential and commercial service, repair, and emergency plumbing throughout Fairfield County. This is not exclusively a construction or rough-in position, we are an emergency service provider. The right candidate should be comfortable diagnosing problems, communicating with customers, presenting appropriate repair options, and completing quality work without constant supervision.

Compensation

• $42–$50 per hour, based on service experience and technical ability

What You Will Do

What We Are Looking For
