Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Specialist in Emergency Services to help build next-generation safety technologies coordinated with sensing and connectivity features across Apple devices.

You will work with cross-functional teams and engage with public safety partners and regulators to extend reach of safety features. A strong background in public safety and PSAP operations is required, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years' cumulative experience in one or more public safety disciplines such as communications, law enforcement, fire, or search and rescue, or emergency medical service.
• Experience with PSAP operations in multiple regions (East Asia/Pacific, Americas, South Asia).
• Basic knowledge of cellular networks and their role in emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Apply your skills to tackle challenging safety problems and work with systems and hardware engineers to develop new safety technologies.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams from different parts of Apple.
• Partner with government agencies and regulators to drive understanding and adoption of safety features in new markets.
