Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Preferred: CNA/MA training or 6 months of direct patient care.
• On-the-job training and competency verification to perform primary functions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients; facilitate accurate unit communication.
• Answer phones and route information to appropriate staff.
• Monitor patients; document vital signs and actions in patient records.
• Perform IV insertion removal under licensed provider supervision; phlebotomy after training.
• Assist with splints/casts, wound care, dressing changes, and patient mobility.
• Stock supplies, maintain unit cleanliness, and transport specimens as needed.
• Assist with sterile procedures and activities of daily living under supervision.
