Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
• Current BLS certificate within 6 months of hire and maintained.
• Experience using computers for word processing and databases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates communication needs of the Emergency Room department.
• Transcribes physician orders with notation and signature by nursing staff.
• Prepares and compiles ER records and charts daily.
• Orders supplies for the unit and assists in completing patient charts.
• Supports nursing staff with indirect patient care duties.
