Job summary

Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH seeks an Emergency Room Unit Coordinator PRN to join our care team. You will welcome patients, coordinate communications, and help keep the unit organized and responsive.

The role emphasizes compassionate, clear communication, accurate record-keeping, and collaboration with the care team to support safe, patient-centered care on every shift.

This position is part of HCA Healthcare's Catholic Medical Center network within New Hampshire's healthcare system.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate / GED required.
• 1 year of clerical experience required. Hospital/medical clerical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and guiding patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism, offering updates, and ensuring they feel informed and supported.
• Maintaining patient records accurately, entering physician orders, and protecting patient information
• Handling all communications between incoming calls and care team members promptly and clearly to keep the unit connected
• Keeping the environment clean, organized, and well-stocked to promote safety and comfort
• Taking initiative to solve challenges, support daily operations, and foster a culture of respect and teamwork
