Job summary

Hudson Regional Health is seeking an Emergency Room Tech to support nursing staff in a fast-paced ER. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assist with equipment, transport, and monitoring tasks essential to patient flow.

The role requires EMT or CNA certification, a high school diploma, and BLS certification. Prior ER experience is preferred, and the facility offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

• To provide direct, basic patient care under the guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse.
• To provide care and cleaning of specific equipment, stocking of supplies and equipment, and the transportation of patients, supplies and equipment. In addition, the ER Tech monitors the central station monitors, interprets the cardiac rhythms, documents rhythm strips every shift and more frequently when needed and notifies the Registered Nurse of any rhythm changes.
• Performs all blood specimen collection for Emergency Room patients by venipuncture, finger stick or heel stick according to policy.

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma
• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification OR Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required.
• Relevant experience (preferred)
• BLS-AHA required
