Job summary

Englewood Health’s Emergency Department seeks an Emergency Room Technician to support physicians, nurses and clinicians in delivering urgent care for acutely ill or injured patients in Englewood, NJ. The role operates under RN supervision and assists with various direct patient care tasks to help ensure efficient, safe ED operations.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years of MA or PCA experience, ER experience preferred, and a High School Diploma or GED with BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Job Summary: The Emergency Room Technician plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality emergency care by assisting physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff in the treatment of patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies. Working under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Emergency Room Technician performs a variety of technical and direct patient care duties to ensure timely, safe, and efficient patient care within the Emergency Department.

A minimum of 2 years of current MA or PCA experience required. Emergency Room experience is preferred.
