Job summary

Care New England Health System (CNE) in Rhode Island seeks a Nursing Assistant to support patient care in the Emergency Services department. You will transport patients, assist with supplies, and perform CPR, vital signs, phlebotomy and ECGs as needed.

Responsibilities include keeping the ER neat, adjusting crutches, obtaining kitchen orders, and assisting with discharge transport. BLS certification is required.

Job Summary

Ensures that supplies in the Emergency Services department are properly stocked.

Administer CPR, check blood pressure, temperature or perform phlebotomy and electrocardiograms as needed.

Ensure the emergency rooms are neat and orderly at all times.
Adjust crutches for patients as necessary.
Obtain food order from kitchen.
Transport discharged patients via wheelchair to car.
Deliver specimens as needed
Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Vocational/technical training and more than six months job-related experience or equivalent is required. Nursing Assistant Certificate is also required. BLS required
