Job summary

Emerus in Las Vegas is seeking an ER Technician to provide technical assistance and supportive patient care across assigned areas. The role supports nurses, collects specimens, and helps with admissions and discharges in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The ideal candidate will have BLS, ACLS/ALS, and PALS certifications or be working toward them, with experience in phlebotomy, IV starts, and EKG initiation. Fluency in English is required, and travel to facility locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English required for written and verbal communications.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS/ALS certification is required in most markets.
• PALS certification preferred.
• Experience or certification pathways include CNA, EMT-P, and related programs.

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data including vital signs and intake/output.
• Collect lab samples and perform basic tests per policy and regulations.
• Assist with patient care as directed by the nurse and plan of care.
• Provide superficial wound care and ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Maintain aseptic technique, infection control, and safe environment.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
