Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.
• RN License - Currently licensed as an RN in Massachusetts.
• Ability to function independently under general guidance and follow unit protocols.
• Must maintain emotional stability in emergency settings.
• Minimum 2 years ED experience preferred.
• ED Triage/Cardiac Room experience preferred.
• PALS within 1 year of hire; ACLS within 3 months; IV qualifications within 6 months.
• ENPC, TNCC, and CEN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care for a specific group of patients.
• Coordinate care with patient, family, nurses, physicians and allied health care providers.
• Assume responsibility for the outcome of nursing care delivered.
