Job summary

Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital in Elko, NV is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department. You will perform patient assessments, implement nursing interventions, and document care in the medical record while working as part of a collaborative ED team.

Applicants should hold an active Nevada RN license, have an Associate's degree in nursing (BSN preferred), and complete BCLS, ACLS, and PALS within specified timelines. A one-year RN background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Nevada RN license required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire.
• BCLS certification upon hospital orientation.
• One year of previous RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate patient assessments and identifies care needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides age-appropriate care and documents medical necessity timely.
• Completes and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient.
• Completes timely and accurate QA assessments.
