Job summary

Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital in Elko, NV is seeking an Emergency Services RN to join our team and help deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. This role emphasizes accurate assessments, timely interventions, and collaborative care planning in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in Nevada, an Associate's degree (BSN preferred), and certifications including BCLS with ACLS/PALS within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Requires Nevada RN license (Compact License not applicable).
• ACLS and PALS within six months of hire or transfer date.
• BCLS upon completion of hospital orientation.
• One year of previous RN experience preferred.
• Associate's degree required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on condition and age.
• Documents timely and accurately for medical necessity in the chart.
• Maintains the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient and updates as needed.
• Performs timely and accurateQI assessments.
