Job summary

84th Avenue Neighborhood Health Center in Thornton, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse to collaborate with the healthcare team and support patient and family needs, delivering compassionate, standards-based care. Qualifications

• RN license in state of employment.
• Associates Degree in Nursing; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement.
• Physical requirements: medium work with lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly.
• Preferred: BSN and 1 year ER/CC experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Evaluate patient responses and intervene to optimize outcomes.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and perform procedures (IVs, wound care, catheterization, specimens).
• Maintain patient charts and confidentiality; document status and outcomes.
• Use IT to communicate, manage knowledge, and support decision-making.
• Educate patients and families; assess learning readiness and effectiveness.
