Job summary

The St. Anthony North Hospital in Westminster, CO is seeking an experienced RN to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in collaboration with the health care team.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, ensuring safety and adherence to the Nurse Practice Act and hospital standards. You will document care, educate patients and families, and participate in interdisciplinary rounds, with a focus on quality outcomes and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma; license by endorsement considered.
• RN License in state of employment is required.
• Physical requirements: Medium Work, lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data.
• Evaluate patient's response and intervene to ensure optimal patient outcome.
• Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Maintain patient charts and records thoroughly and confidentially.
• Document ongoing status, interventions, patient response and outcomes in a timely manner.
• Use information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, mitigate error, and support decision-making.
• Promote, advocate, and collaborate to protect health and safety and rights of each patient.
• Provide patient/family education through assessment of learning readiness and needs.

We are offering a $20,000 sign on bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

$36.51 - $59.00 /hour
