Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for Per Diem hospital opportunities. You can choose shifts that fit your availability while working with a local team offering competitive per diem pay and daily pay options.

Ideal candidates have an active RN license, a minimum of 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Flexible scheduling and credentialing support are provided by FCN.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.
• Dependable and professional with a commitment to quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
