First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for per diem hospital opportunities. Choose shifts that fit your availability while working with a local staffing team that offers competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and scheduling support.

ER RNs must hold an active license with a minimum of 2 years recent ER experience, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Per diem positions offer evening, night, and day shifts with local team support.

Qualificações

• Active RN license with current credentials.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care ER setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes quickly.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other staff.
• Complete documentation in accordance with hospital policy.

ER RN Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting
• Triage and prioritize patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations
• Complete required assessments and documentation
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care Emergency Room experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements
• Dependable and professional with a commitment to quality patient care
