Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for Per Diem hospital opportunities in Virginia. Shifts include 3:00 PM–11:00 PM and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM with daily pay available and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia
• Minimum 2 years ER acute-care experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements
• Dependable and professional with a commitment to quality patient care

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting
• Triage and prioritize patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations
• Complete required assessments and documentation
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements
