Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Medical/Surgical/ICU/ED/OR/PACU preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
• Certification per unit specific competency (e.g. BLS, CPI).
• NIHS Scale, stroke education, cardiac education and ortho education as per department competencies.

Responsibilities

• Direct, plan and organize nursing activities on the unit for assigned shifts.
• Coordinate patient care through the nursing process and with the care team.
• Act as patient advocate and ensure safety, quality of care and compliance with policies.
