Job summary

Singing River Health System in Gulfport, MS, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a part-time night shift (7 PM–7 AM). The RN provides patient care using the Nursing Process, aligned with MS Nurse Practice Act, ANA standards, and SRHS policies.

New RN graduates or RNs in first year participate in the Singing River Nurse Residency Program. Requires Mississippi RN license, BCLS, and specialty certifications (ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP as applicable).

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN School of Nursing and licensed RN in Mississippi.
• Minimum 1 year inpatient experience within last 5 years.
• Complete and maintain required certifications (ACLS, PALS, TNCC) within designated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process per MS Nurse Practice Act and ANA Standards.
• Maintain professional standards and collaborate with care teams.
• Keep required certifications current and participate in ongoing training.
