Job summary

Qualifications

• Washington RN license required.
• BSN preferred and highly regarded.
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Successful completion of nurse residency or six months' RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, guides, directs, and facilitates workflow on the unit.
• Makes staff assignments reflecting patient acuity and unit needs.
• Mentors staff and integrates new personnel into the unit culture.
• Functions as a leader and clinical resource for staff.
• Maintains awareness of standards, documentation, and patient safety.
