Job summary

Ideal candidates hold an Associate of Arts in Nursing, have 1 year of recent ED experience, and can obtain BLS, ACLS, and PALS within designated timelines.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate of Arts in Nursing and CA RN licensure.
• 1 year of consecutive, recent ED experience (ICU considered).
• BLS, ACLS, PALS to be obtained within defined timelines.
• Trauma/NICU related training within 6 months may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine physical and psychosocial assessments and develops a plan of care.
• Formulates and adapts plans for patient needs and education.
• Delivers patient education and ensures safe, effective care delivery.
• Adheres to unit safety regulations and advocates for patient rights.
