Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse Certification (RN) required.
• Registered Nurse Diploma must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• 1 year experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management.
• Performs procedures as ordered by medical provider(s).
• Provides exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests.
• Teaches patients/families about medical conditions and treatments.
• Translates complex medical terminology for patient understanding.
