Qualifications

• Diploma of Nursing from an accredited program.
• BSN must be completed within 5 years of hire.
• KY RN license upon hire.
• BLS/CPR required upon hire.
• ACLS within 90 days.
• PALS within 6 months.
• TNCC within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients and plans care using critical thinking and evidence-based practice.
• Performs standard, urgent or emergent interventions as needed.
• Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments per policy.
• Delivers patient education and discharge planning.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
• Monitors progress and adjusts care to achieve outcomes.
