You will assess pain, perform and document care, and educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up. The role emphasizes advocacy, collaboration with providers, and adherence to nursing standards.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of start date.
• BLS within 30 days of start date.
• PALS within 30 days of start date.
• TNCC within 6 months of start date.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course within 6 months of start date.
• Colorado or multistate RN license.
• BSN from an accredited nursing program preferred.
• 1+ year of acute/critical care RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the ER.
• Assess pain regularly and document care in the medical record.
• Perform procedures and monitor patients per physician orders.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, plans, and follow-up.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and advocate for best outcomes.
