Job summary

Lexington Medical Center Emergency Department in Lexington, NC is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Evening shift (1p–1a), 36 hours per week. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered care in a busy ED with opportunities to participate in a growing emergency program and collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited nursing program, an active RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and ED experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state where the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (American Heart Association).
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• 2 years of ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum using evidence-based practice and strong communication.
