Job summary

MercyOne Clinton Medical Center in eastern Iowa is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our compassionate care team. This full-time, 12-hour day shift offers opportunities to perform rapid assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate with the care team.

Minimum qualifications include an associate degree in nursing; BSN preferred; Iowa RN license; BLS; ACLS if telemetry; mandatory reporter training; strong math and communication skills; basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current or compact state licensure as a Registered Nurse (Iowa).
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• ACLS required only if telemetry monitoring capabilities.
• Mandatory Reporter training within 3 months of hire.
• Strong math, high critical thinking, and good computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs rapid and comprehensive assessments.

• Prepares patients for diagnostic testing, procedures, or transfer to higher levels of care.
