Job summary

AdventHealth Sebring in Florida is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Day shift in a critical care setting. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, monitor responses, educate patients and families, document in the EMR, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, coordinated care.

Requirements include an Associate's degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), RN licensure, BLS, and ICU/critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed with safety.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses, adjust plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, plans, medications, and self-care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Document care activities accurately in the EMR.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and policies.
• Participate in quality improvement to improve patient outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff as needed.
