Job summary

CHI St. Anthony Hospital, part of CommonSpirit Health, Pendleton, seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate, high‑quality care in a fast‑paced acute setting.

You will perform assessments, implement care plans, administer medications, document progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery and safety; licensure in Oregon, BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC within required timelines, and at least 1 year of related experience are expected; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and 1 year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting.
• Oregon RN license is required.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of hire.
• AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.
• Obtain patient consent for care and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Obtain and document health history, chief complaint, vital signs, and health risk factors; assess disease condition.
• Provide patient care based on guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations.
• Execute prescribed treatments and medications; monitor progress and patient response; refer to physicians and other providers as needed.
• Educate patients and families about health status, maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
