Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • 1 year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting.
  • State of Oregon Registered Nurse license.
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of hire.
  • AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire.
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) within 6 months of hire.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Perform general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.
  • Obtain patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality.
  • Obtain and document health history, chief complaint, vital signs, and health risk factors; assess disease condition.
  • Provide patient care based on guidelines, standards of care, and laws/regulations.
  • Execute prescribed treatments and medications; monitor progress and patient response; refer to physicians and other health providers as needed.
  • Educate patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of conditions.

  • Execute prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administers prescribed medications, and monitor and document treatment progress and patient response. Refer to/consult with physicians, other health providers, and community resources to prevent/resolve problems or concerns.
  • Educate patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
Job Requirements

Required

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and 1 year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting
  • State of Orgeon Registered Nurse
  • AHA Basic Life Support Certification
  • AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire
  • AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days of hire
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course within 6 (six) months of hire
