Job summary

CHI St. Anthony Hospital in Pendleton, Oregon is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver patient-centered, comprehensive care using the nursing process. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes.

Requirements include an accredited nursing program graduate, current Oregon RN license, and BLS; ACLS/PALS within six months. BSN preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive pay.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Oregon State RN license.
  • Current AHA BLS certification.
  • ACLS and PALS within six (6) months of hire.
  • BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

  • General Nursing Care: Perform care following established standards (consent, confidentiality).
  • Assessment & Documentation: Obtain/document health history, chief complaint, vitals, risk factors; assess disease condition; use established medical records/systems.
  • Patient Care Delivery: Provide care based on practice guidelines, standards, and regulations.
  • Treatment & Med Administration: Execute prescribed treatments/interventions, administer medications, monitor/document progress and response.
  • Referrals & Consultations: Refer to/consult with physicians, other providers, and community resources.
  • Patient/Family Education: Educate on health status, maintenance, and condition management.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve care processes/outcomes.
  • Quality Assurance: Track QA data and monitor care management.
