Job summary

CHI St. Anthony Hospital in Pendleton, Oregon, seeks a registered nurse to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care using the nursing process. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with emphasis on communication, professionalism, and teamwork.

The role requires an accredited nursing program graduate, current Oregon RN license, and BLS; ACLS/PALS within six months of hire. BSN preferred, with opportunities to grow within a faith-based acute care campus.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Oregon State RN license.
  • Current AHA BLS
  • Current AHA ACLS and PALS within six (6) months of hire.

Responsibilities

  • General Nursing Care: Perform care following established standards (consent, confidentiality).
  • Assessment & Documentation: Obtain/document health history, chief complaint, vitals, risk factors; assess disease condition; use established medical records/systems.
  • Patient Care Delivery: Provide care based on practice guidelines, standards, and regulations.
  • Treatment & Med Administration: Execute prescribed treatments/interventions, administer medications, monitor/document progress and response.
  • Referrals & Consultations: Refer to/consult with physicians, other providers, and community resources.
  • Patient/Family Education: Educate on health status, maintenance, and condition management.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve care processes/outcomes.
  • Quality Assurance: Track QA data and monitor care management.
