Job summary

Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in the Nursing department. The role follows the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, under physician guidance and AZ state practice act.

You will support patient safety, collaborate with the team, and assist with mentor orientation as needed. Required: ADN or Nursing Diploma, AZ RN license or compact license, BLS; various certifications such as

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program graduate.
• Licensure: Current Arizona RN license or compact state RN license.
• Certifications: BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Unit-specific: Basic EKG competency within 3 months.
• PALS within 6 months; ACLS within 3 months; NRP within 6 months.
• S.T.A.B.L.E. within 6 months; AWHONN Fetal Monitor Course.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients under physician direction and act within the nursing process.
• Perform assessments, develop and implement plans of care, evaluate patient responses.
• Coordinate with team to ensure quality of care and patient safety.
• Assist with orientation of new staff and maintain compliance with standards.
