First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem hospital assignments.

Choose shifts that fit your availability while enjoying competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and support from a local team that operates 5:00 AM–11:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required for ER work.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Must be able to complete facility credentialing requirements.
• Dependable and professional with a commitment to quality patient care.

Responsabilités

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
