Job summary

TASC is currently seeking a Part-Time Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) for the Warm Handoff program at Tower Health Reading Hospital Emergency Department. This role involves assisting patients with substance use disorders in accessing treatment options.

The successful candidate will have a CRS certification, at least three years of sobriety, and the ability to work various shifts, including weekends. Strong communication and motivational skills are essential for success in this critical role.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 3rd and 2nd shifts on weekends and holidays.
• Must pass a UDS and criminal background check.
• Must have 3 years of continuous sobriety from a drug addiction or alcoholism.

Responsibilities

• Answer consult requests from hospital personnel.
• Utilize Motivational Interviewing techniques with patients.
• Conduct bed searches for patients seeking treatment.
