Capital Health in Hopewell, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care during 36-hour weekly shifts. Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s degree in nursing and NJ RN licensure.
• AHA BLS certification is required.
• TNCC/NIH Stroke Scale/ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications may be required based on unit assignment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality patient care through nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Ensures patient safety by following policies and procedures.
• Assists with pain management and both pharmacological and non-pharmacological measures.
• Develops and documents discharge plans to support continued recovery at home.
• Coordinates with case managers to optimize care and resource use.
• Facilitates handoffs and updates care teams on patient status.
• Participates in hospital committees and performance improvement activities.
