Guttenberg Municipal Hospital & Clinics is seeking a Full-Time Emergency Room/Med-Surg Registered Nurse to join our night-shift team in Guttenberg, IA. This role offers mentorship, hands-on experience, and opportunities for professional growth in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Join a dedicated team caring for a diverse patient population in both ER and Med-Surg settings. Night shifts with rotating weekends/holidays, Jump Start eligible, and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current RN license with the Iowa Board of Nursing, or eligible for Iowa licensure.
• Strong communication, critical-thinking, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to educate patients and families and communicate observations to providers.
• Ability to document patient information and carry out provider orders.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NRP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in the Emergency Room and Med-Surg.

Guttenberg Municipal Hospital & Clinics (GMHC) is seeking a Full-Time Emergency Room/Med-Surg Registered Nurse to join our dedicated and compassionate night-shift team.

Whether you are a recent graduate or an experienced RN, this position offers an excellent opportunity to build and expand your nursing skills in a supportive, collaborative environment. You will work alongside experienced nurses and healthcare professionals while caring for a diverse patient population in both the Emergency Room and Med-Surg setting. New nurses will benefit from mentorship, hands-on experience, and opportunities for continued professional growth.

This is a full-time night-shift position with rotating weekend and holiday coverage, including every 12th weekend.

This position is eligible for GMHC's Jump Start Program, providing financial support to qualifying nursing students as they complete their education and prepare to begin their careers at GMHC.
