Overview

Emergency Room Director – Registered Nurse / RN

HealthCare Support is seeking an Emergency Room Director – Registered Nurse / RN with a nationally recognized healthcare provider for excellence. This physician-led provider has earned one of the highest employee recommendation rates in South Texas!

Pay Details: $115,000 - $128,000

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the team that cares for patients in the Emergency Department
• Create and carry out plans to improve patient care and keep the department running smoothly
• Be available and responsible for the Emergency Department at all times (24/7 accountability)
• Make staffing decisions, evaluate team performance, and ensure the ED runs efficiently
• Report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) or facility Administrator
• Monday- Friday, 8 am – 5 pm + On-Call

Qualifications

• Current and valid TX license as a Registered Nurse / RN
• 1+ year of Director-level leadership experience within an Emergency Room
• 8+ years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificate upon hire and maintain current
• Current PALS upon hire and maintain current
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Must have experience with the Joint Commission Surveys
