Job summary

Belton Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in the Emergency Room to lead patient-centered care and coordinate nursing staff. This role directs and evaluates nursing care across the unit and acts as a resource for the team to ensure top clinical outcomes.

The CNC partners with management to improve throughput, mentor staff, manage scheduling, and maintain ACLS/BLS compliance. Look for a dedicated professional focused on service excellence.

Qualifications

• RN/Associate degree in nursing with state licensure.
• ACLS certification within 60 days of hire.
• BLS/Basic Life Support within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC or ATCN/Advanced Trauma Care certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient-centered care and coordinate unit functions during the shift.
• Direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care per policy and procedure.
• Collaborate with management to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
• Support patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and productivity guidelines.
• Provide staff training, interviewing input, and performance feedback.
• Oversee inventory, supplies, and equipment management.

Education

Registered Nurse (RN) or Associate Degree in Nursing

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 60 days

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS/BLS) within 6 months

Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses
