Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for Emergency Department coverage in Roswell, New Mexico. The role follows the Nursing Process to deliver high-quality patient care, with a focus on leadership and safe, efficient care.

The position requires active NM RN license and certifications (ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and stroke/SAMA or CPI). 13-week assignment with 36-hour weekly guarantee and potential schedule flexibility.

Qualifications

• Active NM RN license required.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS and TNCC certifications required.
• NHIS Stroke, SAMA or CPI certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years ER experience.
• 13-week assignment with 36-hour guaranteed weekly hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to Emergency Department patients using the Nursing Process and hospital policy.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, leadership, and clinical competency.
• Delegate patient care and supervise assigned staff.
• Ensure safe delivery of care and maintain documentation accordingly.
• Respond to staffing needs with flexible scheduling when required.

Shift: Days

The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care of the patient in the Emergency Department; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care

Day Shift 6:30a - 6:30p

Required: NM RN License, NHIS Stroke, SAMA or CPI, ACLS, BLS, PALS & TNCC

13-Week Assignment

36-Hour Guarantee

3-12 hour shifts per week

2 YearsExperience

Option for 48 hr. Guarantee

Option for Blocked Scheduling as long as the same days are not required each week. Every other weekend required

Floating Required, rarely but as needed
