Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Roadside Technician. You will respond to tire failures at customer locations, repair or replace tires, and assist with shop duties when idle. Training will be provided; experience isn't required.

Expect to be part of an on-call rotation with after-hours calls, and you will earn a pay rate of $20–$25 per hour plus benefits including medical, 401(k), paid vacation, and tire discounts.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to meet commercial driver qualifications.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Willing to participate in on-call rotations and after-hours work.
• No prior tire service experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Service commercial tires, including dismounting, mounting and repair.
• Perform match mounting, dual assemblies, and check radial runout as needed.
• Inflate tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Follow OSHA safety policies and wear required PPE.
