Job summary

AAA Mountain West Group (MWG) in Oakland, CA is seeking a Tow Service Specialist to operate tow trucks safely, diagnose minor issues, and deliver essential roadside assistance for our members. You’ll earn $27.50 per hour with shift differentials and monthly bonuses; the role offers guaranteed hours (minimum 40 per week) and a robust benefits package including 401k matching and tuition reimbursement, plus paid holidays and generous PTO.

Schedule: 2pm-10:30pm or 4pm-12:30am, weekends included.

Qualifications

• Training provided for the role.
• Customer-first mindset and a passion for helping people.
• Willingness and flexibility to work between 2pm - 12:30am, including weekends.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operating tow trucks safely and efficiently.
• Performing simple vehicle diagnostics to figure out the issue.
• Providing essential roadside assistance, including tire changes, fuel delivery, and vehicle lock-outs.
• Building trust, problem-solving, and being a calming presence for our members on the scene.
