Job summary

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is currently hiring an RN for full-time night shift in Glendale Heights, IL. You will conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, monitor progress, and document care in the medical record.

Candidates must have an Associate degree in Nursing, RN license, BLS certification; Bachelor's is preferred. 1+ year of acute hospital experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1+ year of acute hospital experience preferred.
• RN license with BLS certification required; ACLS/NRP per unit requirements.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills important.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate patients' health.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on findings.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care among physicians, nurses, social workers and therapists.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans based on outcomes.
• Communicate with patients, families and teams to keep everyone informed.
• Document assessments, care plans, interventions and outcomes in the medical record.
