Job summary

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department, nights, full-time, with 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends. The role requires delivering safe patient care using the nursing process and coordinating with physicians.

Candidates must hold an active RN license in Illinois with BLS and ALS, PALS or ENPC within hire, and ideally a CEN or BSN. A sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintained.
• ALS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• PALS certificate and/or ENPC within 60 days of hire and maintained.
• CEN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry and within the Emergency Department.
• Direct patient and family teaching while guiding other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality; comply with EMTALA regulations.
