Job summary

Emanate Health seeks an Emergency Services Registered Nurse to perform comprehensive care for acute patients in a dynamic setting. The role emphasizes rapid assessment, planning and evaluation, with emphasis on patient and family education and timely referrals.

Requirements include CA RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS/PALS within 3 months of hire, plus pediatric education annually. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Must hold current RN license in California.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within 3 months of hire.
• BLS certification required; pediatric education within 6 months of hire and annually thereafter.
• Two-day EDAP/ENPC course recommended for QVH staff every 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for acute/emergent patients.
• Provide patient and family education and appropriate referrals.
• Support life-saving measures as needed and ensure safety and compliance.
