Job summary

Arcus Restoration is seeking a reliable Mitigation Technician to support field operations in Murfreesboro, TN. This hands-on role involves responding to emergencies, setting up drying equipment, performing inspections and coordinating with clients and insurers.

Full-time, on-site position with after-hours on-call rotations. Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, and 401(k) benefits available.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Basic knowledge of water, fire, and mold damage restoration principles.
• Ability to operate restoration equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Strong physical stamina for manual labor including lifting 50+ lbs.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to wear PPE for extended periods.
• Willingness to learn during training.
• Ability to work after-hours, weekends, or on-call shifts.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls for water, fire, and mold damage mitigation and restoration.
• Perform inspections and document damage extent using industry-standard tools and software.
• Operate drying equipment, dehumidifiers and air movers to remove moisture.
• Remove damaged materials and apply antimicrobial treatments.
• Maintain accurate records including photos, moisture readings and client communications.
• Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with insurance adjusters, contractors and clients.
• Provide clear explanations and updates to clients on mitigation process and outcomes.
