Job summary

Watterson Environmental is seeking a dedicated Mitigation Technician to assess damaged properties, perform cleanup, and replace damaged materials while following IICRC standards. This role requires physical capability, PPE proficiency, and the ability to follow detailed instructions.

You will set up drying equipment, monitor moisture, document progress, and communicate with customers about status and expectations. Travel to job sites and safe operation of company vehicles are essential.

Qualifications

• IICRC restoration certifications preferred.
• 2+ years as a Restoration Technician preferred.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and travel to sites.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform water mitigation, fire/smoke cleanup, mold remediation per standards.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment and moisture readings.
• Document job progress with photos, readings, and notes.
• Communicate with customers about status and expectations.
• Follow PPE and safety procedures on all sites.
• Operate company vehicles and maintain equipment.
