Job summary

BryceTech is seeking an Emergency Management Analyst to support FEMA's Office of Emerging Threats. The role focuses on identifying, assessing, and informing FEMA and partners about emerging hazards, integrating intelligence, data analytics, and risk assessments to drive planning and capability development.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship and ability to obtain DHS Public Trust.
• 7+ years of experience in FEMA, emerging threats, or policy analysis.
• Bachelor's Degree in related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office products and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within teams.

Responsibilities

• Communicate systematically with multiple stakeholders about cross-cutting issues and engage FEMA Leadership, Public Affairs and Congressional Affairs as needed.
• Create and distribute internal communications on upcoming CBRN policy issues and initiatives to educate FEMA senior leadership.
• Develop briefings, presentations, after action reports, video, and graphics support for the OET Director or Management Team.
• Provide support in periodic events and informal meetings.
• Maintain, update, and develop the FEMA OET internal and external website as needed.
• Develop brochures, kiosks, and visuals to showcase the Office mission.
• Graphics & Messaging: support the Office on social and official messaging, graphics development and video projects for CB RN objectives.
• Support the development and delivery of articles for emergency publications.
• Provide training and advisement to FEMA employees on regulations and threat analysis documents.
• Research, analyze, and develop materials for speeches and testimony for FEMA senior leadership.
• Draft periodic reports covering relevant events for broad FEMA distribution.
• Ensure 508 compliance on all contractor developed videos and documents.
